I SUSAN DAVIS, ELIZABETH DAVIS, DAVID HORN, REBECCA HORN, the wife of said Horn and JOHN STEWART & his heirs of his wife SARAH, JOSEPH DAVIS, BURTON LASATER, SUSAN LASATER the wife of said Lasater, JOHN REYNOLDS, POLY REYNOLDS the wife of said Reynolds, TIMOTHY DAVIS & the heirs of WILLIAM DAVIS, --?-- Death, have this day bargained and sold and do hereby transfer and convey to WILLIAM HIXON and his heirs forever for the consideration of $248.00 to us pay a tract of land in the state of Tennessee, Bledsoe County and 9 district containing 70 acres more or less bounded as follows -- Beginning at a black oak then S 28 degrees W 48 poles to the center of a branch a conditional line between WILLIAM HIXON land and this land thence --?-- --?-- --?-- said branch N 72 poles to a stake at the edge of the wagon road thence S 26 degrees E 12 poles to a steak in the line thence N 49 degrees W 200 poles to a stake thence N 26 degrees E 54 poles to a stake thence S 50 degrees E 223 poles to the beginning to have and to hold the same to the said WILLIAM HIXON his heirs and assigns forever --?-- covenant with the said WILLIAM HIXON that was lawfully seized of said land have agreed right to convey --?-- --?-- that the Davis --?-- --?-- for this --?-- --?-- --?-- and --?-- responsibilities to warrant and --?-- --?-- the title to the said land and every part thereof to the said WILLIAM HIXSON his heirs and assigns against lawful claims against lawful claims of all persons whatsoever this 26th day of August 1850.

They being the two subscribing witnesses they being duly sworn according to law say that they are personally acquainted with all the within named bargainers and that they signed and acknowledged the deed --?-- of the fore going and of --?-- --?-- for the purpose therein contained and for the persons therein --?-- and the --?-- --?-- --?-- --?-- --?--
