Davis Chapel Cemetery is a small cemetery located beside a small church on East Valley Road, Sequatchie County, TN. From Chattanooga, travel north on highway 127, over Signal Mountain, Walden's Ridge, until you reach the other side of Walden's Ridge, foot of the mountain, go about 1.6 miles and turn right onto East Valley Road, the Davis Chapel Cemetery will be 3.9 miles on the right.
Davis Chapel M. E. Church, South was built in 1900, next to the Davis Chapel Cemetery formaly known as the Henson Cemetery. The small, white church that is at the corner of East Valley Road and Davis Loop has now become the East Valley Baptist Church but the cemetery beside it remains as Davis Chapel Cemetery.
I have done my best to record the names and dates of the individuals that are buried in this cemetery as they appeared on their markers but mistakes can be made.
