Early – Mid 1800's Sewing Machine, Historic Pensacola Village

There was so much to see, I am touching on just a very small portion of what was the most interesting to me. I would recommend a trip of your own ~ be sure to stay long enough to take it all in, especially Downtown, Historical Pensacola.

The gravesite photos were taken because they were very unusual or interesting to me.

Marker Reads: Erected to the Memory of Rebecca, Wife of Thomas Robinson, Died January 27, 1869, aged 50 years.

In memory of Mrs. Jane Jerrison, Consort of Capt. John Jerrison, who departed this life on the 8th of July 1855. Aged 50 years and 8 months.

Only 2 graves in a fenced area.

The use of “Consort” on her grave stone was very rare in 1855.

In memory of Captain John Jerrison, A native of New England who died August 29th, 1850. Aged 74 years, 6 months, 11 days.
