Davis Cemetery is located on Lewis Chapel Mountain, Walden’s Ridge, Sequatchie County, Tennessee. From Downtown Dunlap take highway 127 North to highway 111 South (toward Chattanooga), take a right onto the Lewis Chapel Mountain exit, at the top of the mountain, at the end of the exit ramp turn right, travel 1.9 miles to Pete Green Road and turn right, go about ½ mile and turn right onto Davis Cemetery Road and go .2 miles, Davis Cemetery is on the right.
We counted 29 graves that were marked with just a marker that had no names or dates, if anyone knows any of these gravesites, please contact me with the names and dates of the known individual.
We have done our best to record the names and dates of the individuals that are buried in this cemetery as they appeared on their markers but mistakes can be made. If there needs to be a correction, or an addition of someone we might have left out, please contact me and we will be happy to make the addition or corrections. Thank you.
