Old Liberty Cemetery

Records were found at the Sequatchie County Library indicating that this cemetery was located on the same property along with the Liberty Church and that the Liberty Church was “torn away many years” (written in 1930‘s). The last burial in the cemetery was Mrs. Mikel (Priscilla Caroline Crowe). Only two graves had inscriptions in the 1930’s, these two headstones are still there today, other graves unknown.
