FROCK FOR A YOUNG GIRL OF EIGHT
“We give here a diagram, from which to cut a frock for a little girl, say about eight years old. It is an undress frock for in-doors, composed of an ample skirt laid in large hollow plaits and reaching a little below the knees; it is sewed on to the piece forming the top of the garment.”

This little frock/dress, when made to the measurements stated in the Peterson's Magazine, is VERY full, thus I have adjusted my pattern for this frock/dress that isn't as full, giving you a choice. I have also added a tie belt that would have been popular for the mid 1800's.
Frock #1: Made Very Full, exactly as stated in Peterson's Magazine, with pleated skirt + Belt $145.00
Frock #2: Made Very Full, exactly as stated in Peterson's Magazine, with gathered skirt + Belt $125.00
Frock #3: Made not quite as full, with pleated skirt + Belt - $105.00
Frock #4: Made not quite as full, with gathered skirt + Belt - $90.00
All - Adding $15.00 if wanting longer length than calf of leg.
All - Adding $18.00 if wanting a matching bonnet.
Shipping - $12.80
You are welcome to purchase your own fabrics and have them shipped to me or I can purchase them for you. If you would like to do your own purchasing of fabric and/or supplies I will then give you a fabric credit or credits for all supplies you have purchased for your gown.
