Fabric Shown On This Dress May No Longer Be Available	Early 1800's to 1860's Slave or Work Dress This style is suitable for the years 1830's -1860's, and should be worn over a 90 inch circumference corded petticoat or a petticoat rather than a hoop. Dress has a gathered bodice, with a lining and a gathered back. Dress has a narrow waistband and widening out to the shoulders. The bodice is fitted, closures in the front, gathered at waistband, instead of darts. The waistline sits directly on the waistline. The full skirt is attached to the waistband.
