This style is suitable for the years 1830's -1860's, and should be worn over a 90 inch circumference corded petticoat or a petticoat rather than a hoop.

Day Dress

This style is suitable for the years 1840-1853, and should be worn over a 90 inch circumference corded petticoat or several petticoats rather than a hoop. Pictured is over a 4-boned hoop.

Early 1800's Work or Day Dress

Early to Mid 1800's Work Dress

This is a darted bodice with strips to give the look of folded pleats, which has a cleaner look about it.

1830's Mourning Gown or Widow's Gown

Is made of black shantung, trimmed with hand made flowers centered with a glass bead, neckline is bordered with a self-fabric piping, leg-o-mutton sleeves that have small tucks at the top which is edged with a small candle wicked rosebud braid, a cuff turned up at the wrist with hand made buttons of the same dress fabric. Closure in back, and a belt at the waist. A chemisette made of black chiffon is under the dress.

This gown is made of cotton and comes with piping in most seams. Dress opens in front, closures are hook & eyes or buttons (your choice). Great for mothers to be, comes with or without a waistband. Each dress is custom made to your specifications.

This dress has a rounded neck-line, off the shoulder gigot sleeves that are fuller at the top, and snug at the wrist. Skirt has 3 panals that are gathered into a high-waist waistband. This dress comes with piping in most seams, bodice linings and boning. Dress opening is in back, closures are hook & eyes or buttons.

You are welcome to purchase your own fabrics and have them shipped to me or I can purchase them for you. If you would like to do your own purchasing of fabric and/or supplies I will then give you a fabric credit or credits for all supplies you have purchased for your gown. If you use a supply list given, I only charge for supplies that you do not purchase, labor and shipping remain the same.
