1. Dress Fabric suggestions are 54“ - 60“: Silk Taffeta, Taffeta, and Light Weight Drapery

2. Contrast Cuffs and Tabs: Contrasting Same as Dress Fabric or Contrasting Velvet

3. Collar and Inner/Under Sleeves: 45” Cotton, Broadcloth, or Cotton Organdy

4. Bodice Lining: 45” Cotton, Polished Cotton, Muslin, or Broadcloth


You are welcome to purchase your own fabrics and have them shipped to me or I can purchase them for you. If you use the supply list given, I only charge for supplies that you do not purchase, labor and shipping remain the same.


MAIN FABRIC - 9 yards for Dress Fabric, (54-60 in. wide Taffeta) - $$$


  1. 1 and 1/8 yard for Contrasting Cuffs, Tabs, and Bands (45 in. wide velvet)

  2. 1 and ¾ yard for Inner Sleeves, Bands, and Collar (45 in. wide Kona Cotton)

  3. 1 and ½ yard for Bodice Lining (45 in. wide cotton Muslin)

  4. 1 and ¾ yard for Sleeve and Cuff Lining (45 in. wide Kona Cotton)

  5. 11 and ¾ yards of ¼ in. wide Middy Braid (3 pkgs. Of 4yds each)

  6. 2 and ½ yards of 2 and ¼ in. wide Fringe

  7. 7 yards of 5/8 wide Braid

  8. 2 yards of ½ in. wide Lace Edging

  9. 2 and ½ yards of ½ in wide Lace Insertion

  10. #24 cotton piping cord

  11. 1 and ½ yards of boning

  12. Thread, 1 spool for each color of fabric used

  13. 16 Hook and eyes or 7 small buttons ( 2 pkgs. Of Hook & Eyes)

  14. 2 Buttons for Under-sleeve Cuffs

  15. 16 Buttons for Front and Cuffs (3 pkgs. #24 buttons to cover)

  16. 16 packages (3 to a pkg.) or 48 of tiny tassels for Front and Cuffs

2 packages of ½ in. wide double fold bias tape for Collar and Under-sleeves (same color as collar and under-sleeves)

Skirt is designed to be worn over a 4-6 boned hoop. The skirt Circumference is up to190 in., depending on fabric width. This labor price is the hand cartridge pleating and setting the Soutache. Gown bodiceis fully lined, bodice is boned. If not wanting the longer back (train), please let me know before the dress is cut. Thank You.
